Adobe Systems Incorporated has announced that it is one of the main sponsors of Gulf Photo Plus 2006, photography workshops and lectures, being held from February 9th to 18th at Dubai Knowledge Village.
Adobe’s presence in the event has been bolstered by the participation of Jack Davis, co-author of the award winning and best selling guide to Photoshop, ‘The Photoshop Wow!’. During the event, Davis will be giving a series of lectures on hot Photoshop topics.
Besides sessions by Davis, the second edition of Gulf Photo Plus features workshops and lectures by highly acclaimed photographers including Bryan Peterson, author of three best selling photography books on Amazon. The event features workshops and lectures on various photography topics including lighting, night photography, macro photography, using Adobe Photoshop and marketing photography.
Andrew Lindstrom, Regional Manager, Middle East, Africa and Indian Ocean Islands, Adobe Systems Incorporated, said, “Adobe is pleased to be so closely involved in Gulf Photo Plus, which is turning out to be one of the most important events on photography in the region. The overwhelming popularity of digital photography has given amateur and professional photographers a wide range of options and choices, both in terms of capturing better images and adding effects through the use of latest software. We hope that the participants and visitors at the event will benefit immensely by attending the series of lectures and workshops.”
