Dubai Headquartered Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd has announced today that GITEX – KSA, to be held in Riyadh from the 23-27 April, is the PC vendor’s most significant regional market as recently released sales results for 2005 saw the company maintain their number one spot on notebooks, for eight consecutive quarters.
“GITEX – KSA provides for direct access to the gulf region’s largest and highly tech-savvy market and we can re-confirm our commitment to the Kingdom by announcing that we will continue our policy of having direct representation at the exhibition,” said Krishna Murthy, General Manager, Acer Middle East (Ltd).

Acer is one of the only global PC vendor brands to have a direct presence at GITEX – KSA allowing visitors to Saudi Gitex not only to see and test Acer’s full product range, including desktop and notebook PCs, servers, projectors, cameras and its new line of LCD TVs, but also to speak directly to company representatives.
According to figures from international analysts IDC, Acer has been the number one supplier of notebook PCs in the Kingdom for 24 months and is looking to demonstrate a range of solutions for business, government, education and home users.

GITEX – KSA 2006 will also see Acer concentrating on a variety of its product lines ranging from the Acer Ferrari Notebooks, Ferrari Monitors, N35 PDAs with GPS, the new, slim corporate desktop Veriton 2800, CS 6550 Cameras, plasma TV’s and the recently launched 37” (92cm) LCD TV.
