The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) signed a long-term contract today (Monday, July 3, 2006) with Injazat Data Systems, the region’s leading Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, under which Injazat will provide IT-managed services and assume full responsibility for the Authority’s IT strategy and operations.
The deal was signed between H.E. Mohamed Khalaf Al-Mazrouei, Director General of ADACH and Ibrahim Lari, Chief Executive Officer of Injazat Data Systems. Under the terms of the contract, Injazat will provide ADACH with fully integrated IT-managed services that include security services, desktop management services, communication services, database management services, application management services and vendor management services.
Injazat will also develop and support services for Enterprise Resource Planning, Human Resource, Payroll, Financial Procurement, Consultancy Services and guidance, business process communications, knowledge, library, document and work flow and enterprise management systems.
Commenting on the agreement, H.E. Al-Mazrouei said: "Our agreement with Injazat Data Systems will ensure that ADACH receives premium IT services necessary for the upkeep, management and maintenance of current and future projects. This will allow the Authority to focus on its core goals of organising and promoting cultural events, while relying on our partner Injazat to deliver world class IT services.”

The ADACH is a government entity with jurisdiction over the Department of Antiquities and Tourism in Al Ain and the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi. It formulates policies, plans and holds a wide range of activities in the fields of arts, literature, history, archaeology and science to conserve, promote and enhance the heritage and culture of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Injazat is an Abu Dhabi-based joint venture between Mubadala Development Company, the Abu Dhabi government’s investment vehicle and global IT services giant, Electronic Data Systems.
