700 Projects to be Studied Under ‘UAE IT Challenge’

The Dubai Men's College (DMC) work team comprising students entrusted with the promotion of use of Information Technology (IT) in secondary schools in the emirate is expected to receive around 600 to 700 projects for the UAE Educational IT Challenge, Khaleej Times reported Tuesday.  

The event, which is organized by the Higher Colleges of Technology in collaboration concerned institutions is aimed at promoting the use of IT in classrooms throughout the country.  

The DMC team has been assigned to follow up on the procedures to forward the information to all secondary schools in Dubai, said the paper, adding that the team met Ayoub Badri, Manager of Dubai Educational Zone, to discuss the prospects for cooperation in this matter. 

The UAE Educational IT Challenge is an excellent initiative which is designed to 

showcase best IT practice within institutions operating in the United Arab Emirates, according to the project’s website.
