On behalf of His Excellency The Prime Minister, Mr. Marouf al-Bakhit, His Excellency Mr. Sharif Al-Zu'bi, Minister of Industry and Trade, today opened the 3rd International Rebuild Iraq Conference.
During a tour of the Exhibition Mr Al-Zu'bi was able to take in the scale of the 60,000 sqm site and the 1022 exhibitors from 48 countries taking part. He was also joined by the many Iraqi business leaders who are attending both the Exhibition and the 3rd International Rebuild Iraq Conference taking place at the InterContinental Hotel on the 9th and 10th of May.
Surrounded by Exhibitors, Officials, Iraqi and International Business Leaders Mr. Al-Zu'bi toured the 38 country pavilions in the presence of Ambassadors and diplomats as well as high official traveling with the exhibitors from every country. Minister Al Zu’bi said "It makes me very pleased to see such a large and well organized event taking place here in Jordan in support of our brothers in Iraq. Jordan is proud of its contribution to Iraq and proud of highlighting Jordan as the gateway to Iraq in the eyes of the International community."
1,022 companies from 48 countries are attending the 3rd International Rebuild Iraq Exhibition including 38 countries participating with national or official pavilions. They will have the opportunity to meet around 5,000 key Iraqi decision makers who are attending separately or through IFP's 'Hosted Buyers Programme'. Spanning 60,000 sqm the Abdali site provides ample space for the anticipated 15,000 trade visitors from Jordan and the surrounding countries expected to visit Amman for the Exhibition.
