About 300 companies have registered at Jordan’s Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) since the zone has been launched last January, an ASEZ official was quoted as saying by the official Petra news agency.
Only six foreign companies have registered at the zone, said the official, adding that the remaining companies are local with 62 percent based in the capital Amman – Albawaba.com
