Some 250,000 Jordanians on Thursday participated in a march to express their rejection and condemnation of terrorism as well as their support for security and peace, Petra news agency reported.

The march is considered the first of its kind in the Arab World.

Queen Rania Al Abdullah joined the Jordanians in their march, which also included various segments of the Jordanian society.

"The people's feeling in the march spring out from their keenness to ensure safety and security in the homeland and preserve its stability," the Queen was quoted as saying. (Albawaba.com)
