ALBAWABA - Several Ukrainian drones targeted a ferry at a port across from the Crimean peninsula, resulting in the killing of at least one person and injuring five.

Krasnodar governor Veniamin Kondratyev released a statement regarding the attack. "Drones attacked a ferry vessel in the port of Kavkaz. Unfortunately there are injured and dead among the crew and port staff,".

According to regional officials, four drones attacked a passenger ship at Port Kavkaz in Krasnodar. The attack killed one person, according to the state-run Interfax news agency, citing anonymous emergency service workers.

Port Kavkaz is one of Russia's major passenger ports, connecting mainland Russia to annexed Crimea via a train and ferry connection.
