NBK launches the Family Income Protection Insurance

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the best bank in the Middle East, announces the launch of Family Income Protection (FIP) Insurance. Issued by Al Ahleia Insurance Company for exclusive sale to NBK customers, FIP aims to protect NBK’s customers and their families against financial hardship in the event of accidental death or permanent total disability due to an accident.

Abdulla Al Najran Al Tuwaijri, NBK Deputy General Manager, Consumer Banking Group, said “NBK believes in providing its customers with innovative products and services and FIP is one such product”.

“The Family Income Protection package gives our customers the peace of mind that their families will be provided with the financial security they need to manage monthly payments (such as rent, loans or credit cards), and other family responsibilities like childcare and household expenses, in the event of accidental death or permanent total disability due to an accident”, Al Tuwaijri added.

Al Tuwaijri stated: “FIP’s financial benefits provide a valuable source of income to customers’ families including both a lump sum and a monthly income with total coverage ranging from KD 30,000 to KD 150,000 depending on the policy selected. Annual premiums are nominal and easily affordable, ranging from KD 24 - KD 240.”
