Israeli trade with Turkey increased by almost one third during the first seven months of 2010 -- despite mounting political tensions -- Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Thursday. Exports from January to July amounted to US$811.8 million, 32 percent up on the same period in 2009.

Israeli imports from Turkey increased by 30 percent to US$1.04 billion during the same period.

The increase comes despite a sharp deterioration in political relations between the two countries.
