Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram claimed the number 1 spot as best female artist in the Arab world once again.

The sensational singer rightfully earned the “World Music Award” for “Best Arab Female Artist” for the third time since the beginning of her prosperous career, reported Laha Magazine.

Nancy was up against Lebanese singer Elissa and Carole Samaha, Syrian singer Asala, Moroccan singer Samira Said and Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab.

Elissa had won the same award three times in previous years as well.

Nancy will be performing at the 2014 World Music Awards on May 27 in the luxurious French city of Monte Carlo, where she will be receiving her winning trophy on the night.

According to Laha Magazine, Nancy thanked her fans for winning her the vote and promised them plenty more projects that will meet their expectations.

The winner added that her main goal is to get love and appreciation from her fans, adding that tickets to her concerts usually sell-out two to three months in advance; so winning this award is just an added bonus to her ongoing success.
