Algeria chooses Its president with over 94% of the vote

ALBAWABA - The Independent National Election Authority of Algeria's Mohamed Sharfi declared on September 8, 2024, that Abdelmadjid Tebboune had been re-elected to a second term. Tebboune emerged victorious in the election on September 7, with a commanding 94.65% of the vote. The independent candidate Tebboune received 5,329,253 votes.
