In the past few hours, social media has been buzzing with news of the divorce of Syrian actress Deema Bayyaa from her husband Ahmad Al-Helo.
It started when Ahmed Al-Helo shared a picture with a man and a woman of his friends on Instagram, and captioned it "Friends are not hypocrites!"
However, the response from his wife Deema Bayyaa was unexpected as she said "Tfoooooo!" - a spit sound in Arabic - which forced Ahmed to delete the photo.
Things did not stop here; Deema shared an Instagram Story that said "I found myself again," which some saw as a declaration of separation between her and Ahmad.
Deema Bayyaa's name became trending on social media and Google because of the shocking news, prompting the Syrian actress to deny what has been circulating about insulting her husband Ahmad.
Bayyaa posted a lengthy Instagram story saying that what's being circulated is not true, and that she did not insult Ahmad.
She claimed that her comment has been photoshopped to make it look like she's insulting Ahmad.
She added that her comment was a response to someone who left an abusive comment that personally harmed her, so she responded in the same nature of that comment.
Deema concluded her explanation story urging people to hear the right news only from her or from Ahmad.
Deema Bayyaa's marriage to Ahmad Al-Helo is the second one.
During 2002-2012, she was married to Syrian actor Taim Hassan, who cheated on her with her fellow actress Nesreen Tafesh causing the couple to divorce.
Deema has two children from Taim, Ward and Fahed, who live with their mother and their step father Ahmad Al-Helo.
