Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan is preparing to throw his first concert in Palestine following taking pictures with Israeli artists in Dubai.
Ramadan posted a video on Instagram of some Palestinian guys digging up his name on a beach in Palestine. They drew "Prince Mohamed Ramadan" next to Palestine and Egypt flags.
Mohamed captioned the video: "My beloved Palestinian audience, an agreement is underway for my first concert in Palestine, and it is a great honor for my name to be written on a beach in Gaza."
Many followers have seen Ramadan's concert and video as an attempt to suck up to Palestinians after he angered them by taking pictures with Israeli artists in UAE, such as singer Omer Adam.
The controversial pictures have become a public cause in Egypt and the Arab world, prompting Actors Syndicate in Egypt to ban Mohamed Ramadan from acting until after he's interrogated, and ask the production company to cancel his next Ramadan series.
