Lebanese starlet Najwa Karam is a sensitive soul. The starlet couldn't hold her tears back on the talk show "al Hukum" (The Judgment) this week, when a video of her life in pictures was played to the studio audience and viewers at home.

But it wasn't photos of her rise to fame that got her all chocked up; it was the emotional images of her father's funeral, whom she was very close to and sadly passed away in 2013, that brought back grim memories for her.

Najwa wiped away her tears as the song "Ya Abi" (My Father), which she sang with fellow Lebanese legend, the late Wadih el Safi, played in the background.

The doting daughter admitted that she wishes she could erase the memory of her father's death, but knows that it's impossible to do that since she believes in life and death.

A concerned Najwa said that she now greatly fears for her mother's well-being and even sleeps next to her at night because she's so afraid that she might die in her sleep.
