ALBAWABA - Kuwait's prominent actress Hayat Al-Fahed died at the age of 78 after a long suffering with illness, her official page announced on Tuesday.
Yesterday, the Kuwaiti actress was transferred to intensive care after a sudden deterioration in her health, which required urgent medical intervention, the page revealed.
In a statement, Al-Fahd Artistic Production Foundation wrote, "To God we belong, and to Him we shall return."

The statement continued, "With hearts filled with faith in God's will and decree, we mourn the passing of the esteemed artist Hayat Al-Fahad, who departed this life after a battle with illness, following a career brimming with artistic and humanitarian contributions."
"She was a symbol of Gulf drama, leaving behind an enduring legacy that will remain in the memory of generations. We ask God to shower her with His boundless mercy, grant her a place in His spacious Paradise, and inspire her family and loved ones with patience and solace."
When is the funeral of Hayat Al-Fahed?
Al-Fahd Artistic Production Foundation released a statement on Tuesday regarding the funeral of the prominent Kuwaiti star, nicknamed "First Lady of Gulf Cinema".
It wrote, "Hayat Ahmed Youssef Al-Fahed dies, and she will be laid to rest on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, after the afternoon prayer at Sulaibikhat Cemetery.

Condolences for men will be received at the cemetery only.
The women's condolences will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, and for three days."
Al-Fahd Artistic Production Foundation also added the location of the women's mourning house.
