Just over a week is left until one of Britain’s biggest entertainers takes the du Forum stage for his first performance in the capital, next Friday 28 April. Following his successful sold out Spring Tour across the UK, regional fans should expect an energetic 90-minute gig filled with his ultimate sing-along hits such as Troublemaker, Dear Darlin’ and Dance with me Tonight, as well as songs from his latest album ‘24 HRS’ including Years and Years.
In line with Olly’s rise to fame through the UK talent show, X Factor, Hasan Malik, the Yasalam 2016 Emerging Talent Competition winner, will open up for the star. Hasan mesmerized the judges with his deep soul voice and will for sure add a touch of local talent to the upcoming concert. Only 17 years old, Hasan has established himself quickly as a rising star in the UAE music scene with a repertoire of fuse soul and contemporary R&B sounds.
With four number one albums, Olly Murs has proved he’s a true showman with a unique style of humour, endless dance moves and chart-topping hits to wow the audience. Alongside his 6-piece band and back-up singers, the X-Factor runner up is set to deliver an impressive not to be missed concert. Ahead of his Abu Dhabi appearance, Olly promises to ‘put on a fun show… and make sure everyone is dancing’.
