The last time she came, she hosted a gala dinner for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Abu Dhabi. But now, five years later, Baywatch and Playboy star Pamela Anderson is heading to the UAE on March 12 to party at Dubai’s newest club, the VIP Room at the JW Marriott Marquis.

The 45-year-old will join DJ Pepelz at the guest list-only event at the world’s tallest hotel. She will not be performing.

Following her 2008 visit, the notorious PETA spokesperson announced she was going to help build an eco-friendly hotel in Abu Dhabi, but not much has been heard of it since. She told talk show host David Letterman that same year about her project.

“Abu Dhabi is a lovely city and the royal family was really friendly,” she said, and (rather impressively) gave him a short lesson on the UAE. “It’s a really interesting place to be in.”

Anderson is a regular at other VIP Rooms in St Tropez and Paris. She was in the UK on Tuesday to speak at the prestigious Cambridge Union on animal rights, vegetarianism and her campaigns with PETA.

Entry to the club VIP Room in Dubai is via reservations and guest list only; call 052-8818888.
