ALBAWABA - The shooting of the mini-series "Kalbimin Rotası Karadeniz" [The Route of My Heart is the Black Sea] starring Cemre Baysel and Mert Yazıcıoğlu has started in Trabzon city in Turkey.
According to local media, the new series was prepared by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) for its Go Turkey platform to promote the natural, cultural, and touristic beauties of the Black Sea.
Yazıcıoğlu and Baysel were photographed together during the filming of the production they star in, in Trabzon.
The mini-series Kalbimin Rotası Karadeniz, which began filming on July 13, 2026, is set to make a significant contribution to promoting the Black Sea region and enhancing tourism in the country.
The Turkish series is written by Emre Kavuk and directed by Hakan Kırvavaç.
While in Trabzon, Baysel, who recently played the role of Zayneb in the series Güller ve Günahlar [Sins and Roses], shared multiple photos from Uzungöl.
Actor İlhan Şen was expected to play a main role next to actress Cemre Baysel, but he requested to be excused from the project, according to Turkish journalist Birsen Altuntas.
