ALBAWABA - As the wildfires in Los Angeles continue to burn, Angelina Jolie and her 16-year-old son, Knox, stocked up on necessities for those in need.

On Thursday, witnesses saw the mother and boy shopping for a variety of items, including food and water bottles.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Jolie, who is 49 years old, expressed her deep worry for the situation and stated that she was providing shelter to individuals at her residence in Los Feliz.

According to what she shared with the publication, "Right now I'm taking care of people who are close to me and having them at my house."

During the upcoming weeks, the actress from "Maria" mentioned that she will also be contributing to the relief efforts for the fire victims.

Jolie currently resides in California with one of her six children, Maddox, who is 23 years old; Pax, who is 21 years old; Zahara, who is 20 years old; Shiloh, who is 18 years old; and Vivienne, who is 16 years old. She is a co-parent with her ex-boyfriend Brad Pitt.

Celebrities like Jolie aren't the only ones inspired to take action. Together with her husband, Christopher Guest, Jamie Lee Curtis made the announcement earlier this week that she would be contributing one million dollars to those who had been affected by the natural disaster.

Additionally, Kylie Jenner, Mark Zuckerberg, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have all given gifts to local relief organizations, although the amounts of these donations are unknown.

Some celebrities choose to make a financial contribution, while others choose to donate their time.

Jennifer Garner reportedly volunteered with a global relief group on Friday, helping to provide food to firefighters.

Chef José Andrés, whose non-profit, non-governmental organization World Central Kitchen has been supplying food for victims of the fire, joined the actress from "Elektra." World Central Kitchen has been providing meals for victims of the fire.

Celebrities like Halle Berry, Sharon Stone, Harry Hamlin, Michelle Pfeiffer, and others also donated clothing in the form of bags to those whose belongings suffered damage.

However, there are those celebrities who are experiencing the opposite side of the tragic circumstance, as they are struggling to come to terms with the loss of their homes.

A number of celebrities, including Mel Gibson, Adam Brody, and Leighton Meester, as well as Miles Teller, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, and others, have tragically lost everything they owned.

Since Tuesday, five large flames have been raging through the city of Los Angeles, annihilating approximately 30,000 acres of land and destroying over 10,000 buildings.
