ALBAWABA - Controversial influencers Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were both arrested on Saturday in Miami following the sex trafficking and rape charges made against them in Britain.

Reports indicate that the brothers were taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service on a "sealed warrant," confirmed by an AP spokesperson.  The charges accuse Andrew and Tristan Tate of raping and trafficking women between 2010 and 2017.

The brothers, who hold dual U.S. and British citizenship, were also arrested in Romania back in 2022 on similar charges. However, the legal case didn't go through, with reports citing legal and procedural problems.

Now Andrew and Tristan Tate once again found themselves in hot water after British authorities cracked down on their alleged crimes. It's important to note that the brothers were allowed to leave Romania for Florida on board a private jet last year.

They are expected to appear in Miami’s federal court early next week.

Lawyer says Tate brother 'will walk free'

According to AFP,  Attorney Joseph McBride said in a statement that the Tate brothers "will walk free."

He said, "We are confident that once a competent judge sees the facts, and once the Department of Justice confronts this egregious abuse of its own authority, Andrew and Tristan Tate will walk free."
