ALBAWABA - How did he know? An X post from 2021 has resurfaced on the social media platform after users noticed it had correctly predicted that Argentina would play against Spain in the 2026 World Cup final.
Argentina recently scored 2 goals against England, qualifying for the final. England was met with criticism when fans noticed that the whole team switched to a defensive strategy after only scoring one goal in Emiliano Martínez's net, allowing Argentina more chances to score in Pickford's net.
On the contrary, Spain qualified for the final by beating France 2-0 thanks to Marc Cucurella's excellent defending. Predictions on who's taking home the next World Cup flooded social media, but one post from 2021 went viral.

The post sparked debate and suspicion regarding the user's identity after they also predicted that Argentina would beat Spain 3-2 on July 19. User "dilemma" wrote, "Argentina just beat Spain at the 2026 World Cup final, 3-2."
A user responded to their post, "How is this even possible to predict WOW!" Another added, "You tweeted this before world cup 2022, who's your source please?"
