Families gathered in 51 locations across Britain to attempt a Guinness World Record for the largest amount of people participating in an egg and spoon race.
The attempt, organized by charity Action for Children as part of its Biggest Sports Day event, saw families at 51 parks across the country holding simultaneous egg and spoon races in an attempt to break the Guinness record of 1,444 participants.
The children and staff joined in with A4C and their attempt of a Guinness World Record by holding the biggest in sync egg and spoon race at 11.30 this morning. Because of the weather, we put our own spin on it and had an Ice and Spoon race. Hope it counts!#BiggestSportsDay pic.twitter.com/6bYoEJYdTJ

Final tallies were not yet available, but Erin Tubman, children services worker at Action for Children, said there were 116 children participating in the town of Barrow, England.
The Biggest Sports Day, which also included other events throughout the day, was organized to commemorate Action for Children's 150th anniversary.
