Multiple Kuwaiti citizens called the police after an unattended monkey went on an adventure in Nuzha.
According to reports, the monkey was seen jumping from one vehicle to another. No owner or identifying information could be found.
Security sources said that children were happy to see the monkey and the animal did not appear to be hostile. Kids gave the monkey some nuts and bananas while adults panicked and called the police.
The authorities handed the monkey over to PAAAFR, the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs & Fish Resources.
Monkeys are not native to Kuwait, though online pet forums have them available for sale in the country.
The fate of the monkey is unknown.
