The woman, Nati Ni, wrote on her Facebook page that after boarding a Line 53 bus early Wednesday morning, the driver angrily returned her fare and screamed at her: “What a disgrace to the State of Israel! How do you take the color of the flag and put it on your head? You despicable person! You vile human being! Don’t you have any parents that educated you? Did you grow up with gentiles?”
“What a disgrace! Some shiksa thinks that they could do whatever you want here! Get out of here!”
Since Wednesday morning, Nati Ni's post generated over 1,500 likes and hundreds of shares.
“I didn’t do anything to deserve such treatment,” she wrote on her Facebook post. “What is worse is that near the driver sat two ‘righteous individuals’ who applauded the driver and congratulated him for standing up for his beliefs.”
Facebook users who responded to the post expressed shock and disbelief. Some have even encouraged the woman to sue the bus company, Kavim.
“The driver’s behavior as described by the passenger, is in complete contravention of the company spirit and code of conduct,” a Kavim spokesperson told Channel 2. “In light of the passenger’s complaint, the driver will be summoned for a hearing to determine the circumstances of the incident.”
