A two-year-old baby died on the third day of Eid after suffocating on a small grape that he swallowed.
The grape blocked his windpipe, suffocating him, according to reports in the Arabic media.
Obeid Ben Freish al-Kindi, director of Khorfakkan Hospital, said that the child arrived at the hospital emergency on the third day of Eid." Attempts to save the baby failed as the medical staff couldn't revive the toddler.
Initial reports suggested the child showed no signs of vitality and the child passed away due to choking and obstruction of the respiratory tract.
