Egypt made history by hosting the first official American Football game in Africa but ended up losing to Morocco in Cairo to miss out on a place in next year's World Championship in Stockholm.
Saturday's affair, which also marked Egypt's first competitive game, was played at the German University in Cairo, more than a year after the Egyptian League of American Football was officially recognized by the International Federation of American Football.
There are only three recognized federations in Africa - Egypt, Nigeria and Morocco.
Morocco won 26-6 to become the first African representative at the World Championship.
