Meet Salman bin Musleh Al-Sharari, a Saudi, who didn’t hesitate to sell his prized possession to send home his injured Turkish friend Mohammad Ali Arsalan.
Al-Sharari became friends with Arsalan during his visits to the latter’s workshop at an industrial city in Domat Al-Jandal. Arsalan became crippled when a car accident left him with fractures and bruises.
When Al-Sharari paid him a visit, a distressed Arsalan expressed his desire to be with his family and children in Turkey.
Al-Sharari did not hesitate for a minute and sold his car to buy Arsalan a business class ticket from Jouf to Riyadh and then to Ankara.
Not only this, Al-Sharari escorted Arsalan to the Riyadh airport and bid him farewell with smiles and prayers for a speedy recovery.
He also coordinated with a friend's family in Turkey to send an ambulance to the airport to transport Arsalan to hospital from airport. And what was left from the value of the sold car was also given to Arsalan.
Al-Sharari thanked God when he received a call from Arsalan informing him that he arrived safely at the hospital and is receiving treatment.
