Behind the presenter, a screen showed a Sukhoi Su-27 jet fighter and the words 'flying weather', the Guardian reports.
“October in Syria is an advantageous month for flights,” the presenter added.
“In these meteorological conditions, planes can dive below the clouds and conduct effective strikes on ground targets, and only climb higher if there’s active anti-aircraft fire."
A graphic showed another plane dropping bombs on a tank from 3km to 5km - described as the “optimal height for targeting and bombing."
Critics have repeatedly complained of media censorship in Russia and news reports heavily biased in favour of the Putin regime.
It comes as MoD intelligence has claimed only one in 20 of Russia's airstrikes are targeting Islamic State in Syria.
David Cameron has said President Vladimir Putin is making “a terrible mistake” by sending jets to prop up Syrian tyrant Bashar al-Assad.
He told the BBC the Russians were “backing the butcher Assad, which is a terrible mistake for them and for the world. It is going to make the region more unstable. It will lead to further radicalisation and increase terrorism.
Mr Cameron added: “I would say to them: ‘Change direction, join us in attacking Isil, but recognise that if we want to have a secure region, we need an alternative leader to Assad’.”
Russia insists it is bombing IS. Moscow’s defence ministry said its warplanes flew 20 missions at the weekend, striking ten IS targets.
