ALBAWABA - A fun atmosphere at a high-end restaurant in the United States turned chaotic when a humanoid robot, designed to serve customers, lost control during a dance routine, knocking over plates and sending cutlery and sauces flying into the air amidst screams from the patrons.
The incident occurred at Cupertino, a hot pot restaurant, in San Jose, California. A video circulating online shows the robot, wearing an apron featuring a character from the movie "Zootopia," performing energetic dance moves in front of customers who initially appeared to be enjoying its performance, according to the British newspaper The Sun.
But during its performance, the robot moved too close to one of the tables, its arms colliding with the food plates in front of the customers. In an instant, cutlery and sauces flew through the air, and some of the seated patrons cried out in shock.
Several employees rushed to intervene, darting towards the mustard-covered robot in an attempt to pull it away from the table.
Despite their efforts to restrain it, the robot continued its violent movements as three employees tried to catch it and move it to a safe distance from the terrified customers.
