Queen Alia International Airport Welcomes Over 3.7 Million Passengers During H1 2026

Airport International Group (AIG), the Jordanian company operating Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), maintained efficient and reliable operations throughout the first half of 2026, demonstrating resilience amid continued regional challenges affecting the aviation sector. During the first six months of the year, QAIA welcomed 3,744,901 passengers, representing a 15% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. The airport also handled 32,311 aircraft movements, down 11.1% year on year, and processed 30,618 tonnes of cargo, reflecting a 19.9% decrease.
