(MEBG) – TotalFina Elf expects to begin installation of its Doroud field wellhead and dual pipelines off the Iran coast, during the fourth quarter of 2000, reported Oil-online.
The company earlier contracted with Stolt Offshore for the Persian Gulf project. A combination derrick/pipelay barge is expected to be used on the field.
Agip is a partner in Doroud, which is located in water depths ranging from about 100 feet to 500 feet. The entire field development project will cost close to $550 million.
