The Saudi banking system’s C-list, which contains the names of Saudi national and expatriates who are considered bad risks, stood at 106,000 customers at the end of November, reported Al-Sharq Al-Awsat

According to the newspaper, the Saudi-American Bank, the Saudi-British Bank, the Al-Rajhi Banking Corporation and the Riyadh Bank held the majority of the listed customers. Each reportedly had more than 10,000 customers on the C-list.

Local banking sources reported that the C-List, which is exchanged by the Saudi banks, enables the banks to save millions of riyals, which could have been lost as bad loans and debts. – (Albawaba-MEBG)
