Qatar continues to be richest Arab country

Qatar continues to be the richest Arab nation with a per capita income of more than $30,000 per annum, data released by Abu Dhabi-based Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) have disclosed.  

 

The country now ranks among 20 richest nations in the world in terms of per capita income.  

 

Qatar’s per capita income was forecast by AMF at $30,410 for last year, up from $29,948 in 2002.  

 

Just as last year, UAE trailed behind Qatar being the second richest Arab country with a per capita income of $19,755. (menareport.com)
