Tamkeen meets with local youth societies

As part of its continued efforts to connect with different stakeholders and engage with youth initiatives that feed into Tamkeen’s strategic objectives, Tamkeen organised its 3rd meeting with youth representatives from the various youth societies in the Kingdom.
The meeting introduced members of over 10 Bahraini Youth societies to Tamkeen’s various programmes which aim to enable them to make a difference in their respective industries. In addition to that, the meeting also provided the chance to share their thoughts about potential joint projects between them and Tamkeen.
Tamkeen is eager to connect with the different stakeholders who play a vital role in shaping Bahrain’s society and constantly reach out to youth societies to introduce them to its different programmes and discuss ways of collaboration to deliver projects relevant to Tamkeen’s strategy of enabling Bahrainis to achieve their potentials.

Tamkeen
Tamkeen is a public authority established in August 2006, tasked with supporting Bahrain’s private sector and positioning it as the key driver of economic growth and development. Tamkeen is one of the cornerstones of Bahrain’s national reform initiatives and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
Tamkeen has two primary objectives - firstly, foster the development and growth of enterprises, and second provide support to enhance the productivity and training of the national workforce. To achieve these objectives -Tamkeen’s 2018-2020 strategy focuses on Diversifying offerings, Accelerate delivery and Sustaining Impact.
