Star Ahmed Malek Joins the Berlinale Talents

In addition to participating in the programme and its networking platforms that will be held from the 17th to the 22nd of February, Ahmed Malek will be a member of the Acting Studio.

The Berlinale Talents announced its list of participants of this year's edition that will be held during the 6^th edition of the Berlinale. The list includes prominent Egyptian star Ahmed Malekwho has been selected from over 3.100 applicants from 133 countries.

In addition to participating in the programme and its networking platforms that will be held from the 17th to the 22nd of February, Ahmed Malek will be a member of the Acting Studio.

This comes as part of Malek's continuous participation in prestigious film festivals. Most recently, Screen International announced selecting Malek among five promising Arab stars and filmmakers in the Stars of Tomorrow programme (Arab Stars of Tomorrow) within the activities of the 14^th Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF). The board of the Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival selected Ahmed Malek as a jury member of the Realtime Competition.

During the 14^th Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), iProductions announced the selection of young star Ahmed Malek to join the cast of Al Deif (The Guest) film directed by Hadi El Bagoury and written by Ibrahim Eissa. The film marks the fourth collaboration between Malek and iProductions after Hepta: The Last Lecture, Sheikh Jackson and Gunshot, which is currently in production.
