National Bank of Oman (NBO) welcomed 60 members from Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning for a special learning and development session.

Continuing to foster partnerships with the public sector, National Bank of Oman (NBO) welcomed 60 members from Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning for a special learning and development session. The event is part of the Ministry’s leadership development programme, and aims to initiate a network for sharing best practices to enhance the delivery of services and empower professionals, contributing directly to the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. 

Mustahil Al Mamari, Head of CEO Office, spoke about the bank’s Tamkeen programme that acts as a catalyst to drive NBO’s strategy forward by focusing on simplifying the internal customer workplace towards better services for external customers and to achieve the set target. Said Al Marhoobi, Head of Customer Experience, shared the bank’s approach to the customer experience journey and Dr. Ali Al Sheikaili, Head of Digital Channels gave a brief about the various digital banking services and features. The Ministry members also visited the bank’s Ibtikar Lab, which taps into the talent of its staff to come up with innovative ideas and solutions, and finally were introduced to NBO’s portfolio of products and services.
