NBB Unveils ‘Yalla’ The All-New Family Digital Banking Experience

 The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has introduced its latest digital innovation in family banking with the launch of the ‘Yalla’ Family Account, a dynamic youth-focused solution. This innovative digital solution marks the Bank’s latest offering designed to promote financial inclusion within families while nurturing responsible financial habits among the younger generation from an early age. 
The solution allows parents to seamlessly onboard their children and manage their accounts through the NBB Digital Banking App, provide them with access to key financial tools while retaining oversight and respond to their fund requests, all within a secure and intuitive digital ecosystem. Youth can also benefit from exclusive offers through the Points by NBB App, making way for a more rewarding banking experience that complements their lifestyle. 
Commenting on the launch, Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani, Chief Executive – Retail Banking at NBB stated, “We are pleased to announce the new digital family banking experience ‘Yalla’, which empowers young accountholders to gain financial literacy and awareness. This initiative signifies our determination towards community inclusion by offering tailored banking services that support families in their financial journeys.”
Highlighting the features of the new solution, Omar Al Adhami, Head of Retail Digital Banking at NBB added, “The NBB Digital Banking App enables parents to open a Yalla Family Account for their children up to the age of 18. Additionally, they can grant digital access to their young ones from the age of 10. They can also enjoy setting automated allowances and view their transactions with ease. Children, in turn, can request and receive funds through a secure digital engagement.”
