MoF and Wall Street Exchange Centre continue to progress the implementation of money transfer services through e-Dirham cards

On behalf of the Ministry of Finance (MoF), HE Saeed Rashid Al Yateem, Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Budget Sector at MoF welcomed HE Saeed Al Khouri, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Government and VIP Customers at National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and HE Sultan Al Mahmoud, Chief Marketing and Support Services Officer at the Wall Street Exchange Centre, today. The Ministry of Finance and Wall Street Exchange agreed to continue working towards meeting the necessary requirements to develop global money transfer services through e-Dirham cards across the centre’s branches.
The meeting was held in the presence of Azza Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director of the Revenue Development Department at MoF, the e-Dirham team as well as representatives from both NBAD and the Wall Street Exchange Centre.
The Ministry previously signed an agreement to integrate the G2 e-Dirham system with the Wall Street Exchange Centre. The centre has also started to sell and recharge e-Dirham cards across its 33 branches within the UAE.
