HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer meets with the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to the UAE
HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, met today with HE Dr. Kwon Tah Kyun, Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to the UAE at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, they discussed approaches of enhancing bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of South Korea and methods of consolidating cooperation opportunities in various areas, which would contribute to the achievement of the common interests for both countries.
HE Al Tayer emphasised the UAE’s commitment in strengthening and deepening economic and investment cooperation channels with Korea by seeking investments with common interests that will achieve a dual benefit for investors in both countries. This initiative will help overcome many obstacles and will maintain all the existent advantages for investments. HE also highlighted the current Emirati- Korean relationship, which is moving towards a strategic partnership in many vital sectors such as oil and renewable energy, education and training, construction, environment, health care, ship building, transportation, telecommunications and information technology.Alpha
For his part, HE Dr. Kwon Tah Keun stressed on his country’s interest in enhancing its relationship with the UAE and notably on the level of exchange investments and the establishment of joint ventures. HE also expressed his admiration on the development achieved by the UAE and its leading global standing on more than one level. In addition, HE shed light on the remarkable development in the financial and economical sector in the UAE and its impact on promoting international relations with countries worldwide.
