Mashreq appoints UAE Nationals as branch managers

Mashreq, one of the UAE’s leading financial institutions announced the appointment of four UAE Nationals as Branch Managers across the distribution network. The move is a demonstration of the bank’s commitment towards Emiratisation and the continuous efforts undertaken to offer suitable job opportunities to them. Newly appointed Branch Managers are for Al Muroor Branch in Abu Dhabi, Khor Dubai Branch, Entrepreneurs Business Village (EBV) Branch in Dubai and Ajman Main Branch.

Shaker Zainal, Head of Distribution at Mashreq commented, “We would like to welcome the latest group of UAE Nationals to join the bank, which is a result of our constant endeavour to empower talented and ambitious Emaratis. Our strategy involves attracting experienced individuals in the banking industry to get the best calibre. At Mashreq, we emphasize on enhancing the frontlines of our branches through placing employees who have undergone certain training programs to execute customer requirements and offer a world class banking experience to them.” 

Younis Al Ansari has been appointed as a Branch Manager for Mashreq’s Ajman Main Branch. With banking experience of 20 years, Al Ansari worked in various banks and financial institutions. He is a holder of Chartered Institute of Banker (CIB) Banking Diploma from Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies.

Amna Mohammed has been appointed as a Branch Manager for Khor Dubai Branch. A holder of Higher Diploma in Banking from Emirates Institution for Banking and Financial Studies, Amna has 13 years of experience in the UAE banking industry.

Appointed as the Branch Manager of EBV Branch, Moath Shaker Mohamed is a graduate in Diploma in Banking & Finance from Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Science. Moath’s experience extends to 10 years, having worked in multiple positions and managing teams.

Recently announced was the new Branch Manager for Al Muroor Branch in Abu Dhabi, Abdul Rahman Al Khadr. Abdul Rahman’s working experience extends to 15 years.
