Landmark Group’s beat Diabetes initiative encourages over 300 participants to leap to good health at Jump Boxx!

On 29 February, Beat Diabetes, the community-focused initiative by the region’s leading retail and hospitality conglomerate Landmark Group, hosted over 300 people as part of a drive that encouraged residents of the UAE to take a leap to good health.

This unique event brought the community together to celebrate the year’s leap day with a symbolic fun-filled leap for fitness and urged residents to adopt a healthy lifestyle.                   

Landmark Group’s ‘Beat Diabetes’ initiative annually engages the community in different activities to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. In 2015, 40,000 people were successfully screened for diabetes. In addition, as part of the initiative, the Group’s social media campaign, #eathealthy saw over 7,000 images shared during November under the hashtag #eathealthy to support healthy food habits. Landmark Group further hosted unique corporate chair yoga sessions for employees of more than 50 organisations to spread the social message of prioritising good health under the Beat Diabetes umbrella.
