KPMG Fakhro continues to support Bahraini’s professional growth

A new group of KPMG Fakhro staff have recently pursued and completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification, thanks to support from the firm’s Jassim Fakhro People Development Fund.
The fund, created to honor Jassim Fakhro, the co-founder of KPMG in Bahrain, was developed to support the professional growth of talented young Bahrainis. It provides local staff with access to financial support along with time and mentoring from more experience colleagues to help them pursue and complete any professional qualification of their choice.
KPMG’s Managing Partner, Jamal Fakhro, commented on the milestone program “At KPMG, we are committed to giving back to the communities we operate in. We believe that by investing in education, we are contributing towards driving Bahrain’s growth. Since the inception of the fund program in 2001, we are proud to have invested over BD 369,000 in the education of 87 Bahraini employees.”
