Italian Delegation Visits Bee’ah’s State-of-the-Art Waste Management Centre

Bee’ah, the Middle East’s leading and award-winning fully integrated environmental and waste management company, welcomed a high-level Italian delegation at its pioneering waste management centre in Sharjah. Bee’ah’s representatives demonstrated the company’s advanced systems, discussed opportunities for new business, touched on sustainability issues and mapped out joint investment avenues in both the private and public sectors. The company’s Waste Management Centre is currently the region’s largest collection of waste segregation and processing facilities.

The Italian delegation was led by Umberto Bernardo, Deputy Head of Mission, at the Embassy of Italy in the United Arab Emirates. The delegates were greeted by Khaled Al Huraimel, Bee’ah’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Firas Wahbeh, Marketing & Communications Director and Daker El Rabaya, Director of Waste Process, Bee’ah – all of whom shed light on Bee’ah’s comprehensive environmental agenda and state-of-the-art facilities.

In effect, the facilities’ highly-advanced, effective processes are a critical part of Bee’ah’s ground-breaking, integrated environmental and waste management systems. They are also key components to helping the company achieve zero-waste to landfill in the emirate of Sharjah by 2015.
