Imdaad supports ‘Skills4Life Summer Technology Camp 2014’ to help build the capacity of young Emiratis

Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management  solutions in the GCC, recently extended its support to ‘Skills4Life Summer Technology Camp 2014’ organized by Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET) as part of the company’s unwavering commitment to contribute to UAE’s education sector. Imdaad was the gold sponsor of the summer camp that was held recently in all ACTVET branches across UAE to help improve the skills of Grades 6 to 12 students in the areas of English, technology and vocational education. 

For two weeks, Skills4Life provided a variety of positive learning experiences to students that added value to their knowledge, skills and attitudes. The summer camp is organized yearly by ACTVET, in partnership with different organizations such as Imdaad for this year’s camp, to boost the skills of young Emiratis. The Skills4Life program is in line with ACTVET’s mission to build the capacity of skilled Emirati youth and to provide them with opportunities for lifelong learning and personal development. Under the initiative of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council, ACTVET was established by the Abu Dhabi Executive Council in 2010 to preside over technical and vocational training in the emirate.
