Dubai Customs organises open market for the fifth time at Umm Suqeim 2 harbour
Fishermen Harbours team at Dubai Customs organises today (Wednesday, February 11, 2015) an open market, named Marina, for the fifth time at Umm Suqeim 2 harbour. The open market is expected to attract more tourists to the area.
As many as 32 exhibitors of various nationalities are taking part in the market, which displays clothing, footwear, antiques, gifts, accessories and handicrafts.
Marina open market is currently the most prominent project carried out by the Fishermen Harbours team, after the completion of the Fishermen Harbours Development Project in Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim. The Project was meant to help traditional fishermen improve their livelihood, and revive the UAE’s rich heritage.
The hugely-popular market opens from 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.
