Dubai Customs Concludes 'Your Children Are Our Children' Initiative

The initiative gave advice to help young people choose their future subject of study.

Dubai Customs’ HR Department concluded “Your Children Are Our Children” initiative which targeted the children of Dubai Customs’ employees. The initiative gave advice to help these young people choose their future subject of study. It also educated college graduates around the most suitable career path they can follow.

The initiative saw a great turnout amongst the employees and their children. 50 students were surveyed and satisfaction level reached 95.1%.

Abdul Azziz Al Bloushi, Senior Manager, Organizational Development said:” We launched this initiative as part of our strategic plans in Dubai Customs to make our employees and their children happier and their life better since they are our real valued asset”.

A standard assesment was conducted to identify the different skills and potential the students had, and based on that they received advice.

Lana Aisawi, HR assessment specialist, said each student was provided with an individual plan where they identified their personal objectives and interests. The results helped parents and their children learn about points of strength and where development is needed.
