Dubai Customs’ Passenger Operations Department has made donations of unclaimed items in possession of the Customs. The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment (MBRMCHE) and Dubai Charity Association were the beneficiaries of this charitable action. From Dubai Customs, Ahmed Abdullah bin Lahej, Director of Passenger Operations Department, directors of Dubai International Airport terminals and Al Maktoum Airport, and Safwan Al Suwaidi, Senior CSR Officer, were present at the donation event. 

As many as 18,780 items of unclaimed clothes, bags, women accessories, and stationary, with a total market value of AED 250,000, were passed to MBRMCHE. From the Establishment, H.E. Saleh Zaher Saleh, Director, and Othman Mohammed Hasan, Logistics Coordinator, were present at the event.

Moreover, a total of 300 wheel chairs and baby strollers were donated to Dubai Charity Association. Rashid Al Falasi, Manager of Charitable Projects, and Huda Al Budour, Head of Women Committee at the Association were present at the event.

Ahmed Abdullah bin Lahej, Director of Passenger Operations Department, praised the great efforts exerted by humanitarian foundations, stating that the policy of Dubai Customs to give away unclaimed items reflects its sincere gratitude to the community.
