Dubai Culture collaborate with Dubai Specialist Dental Centre

Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, has collaborated with  Dubai Specialist Dental Centre by provide artworks for the newly opened Dental centre  in alignment with the Authority’s mandate to support and nurture local talent.

Dubai Specialist Dental Centre was opened this month in the presence of His Excellency Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General of Dubai Culture; His Excellency Nasser Khalifa Al Budoor, Director of Dubai Medical District and Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention; His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarooni, Deputy Director of Dubai Medical District; and Dr. Hussain Al Saleh, Manager of Dubai Specialist Dental Centre. The opening was also attended by a team from the projects department at Dubai Culture and a number of other doctors and stakeholders

The Authority decorated the walls of the centre with artworks by prominent photographers members of  Dar Ibn Al-Haytham to provide images that reflect the purpose of the centre. In order to enhance the artistic dimensions of the centre, Dubai Culture also commissioned the calligrapher Abdel Fattah Mohamed El Sayed to create an artwork using the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Through such initiatives, the Authority aims to nurture talent and support the Emirate’s dynamic visual arts sector by making the most of the wide range of internal and external spaces available for showcasing artworks. The Authority's initiatives focus on supporting a new creative generation in the field of visual arts, and on making Dubai a city of happy, creative and empowered individuals.

These initiatives also contribute to improving lives in Dubai, as they enhance the city's position as a place where happy people are part of a community that empowers individuals and nurtures their talent. Through its diverse initiatives and activities, Dubai Culture seeks to enrich and enhance the diverse cultural and creative fabric of Dubai; supporting a new creative generation is a key driver in everything Dubai Culture does.
