Dubai Chamber workshop focuses on producing effective franchise contracts

Franchising is a popular concept in the emirate benefitting both thebrand-owner franchisors and local investor franchisees as this relationship significantly lowers costs and risks while providing jobs for young people. This agreement also helps franchisors to expand their brands while enabling the franchisees in the country to benefit from a well-known brand besides bringing in great rewards for their companies.

Ms. Jehad Kazim, Director, Legal Services Department, Dubai Chamber, stated that drafting a successful franchise agreement is immensely important as this guarantees the rights of both the franchisee and the franchisor and leads to a long-term and sustainable business relationship based on clarity and transparency.
